At Edamanasserry Spine Hospital we treat our patients with our traditional family knowledge which has been inherited from our ancestors combined with a modern outlook and facilities. Our traditional knowledge of Ayurveda has been passed on to us for generations and we have constantly researched to upgrade this knowledge and combine the new age therapy methods with it.

Our first and foremost concern is the betterment of the patient and the alleviation of ailments by addressing the underlying root cause. Ayurveda is a holistic approach to health that considers the balance of mind, body, and spirit to achieve overall well-being. In Ayurveda, a wide range of methods and therapies are customized to each need.

Panchakarma helps in detoxification and rejuvenation.

It includes massages, steam therapy, and cleansing the body of toxins to help maintain balance and remove the doshas for reenergizing the body and mind. Herbal medicines like turmeric, ashwagandha, guduchi, manjishta, brahmi, neem etc. are used to create medicinal formulations that are administered to address the underlying cause of any ailment in the body. Abhyanga is a therapeutic full-body massage where we use warm herbal oils. It improves circulation, relieves muscle tension, and balances the Doshas. Specific oils and massage techniques are chosen based on the disease and body constitution of the patient. In Shirodhara warm herbal oil is administered from the head which calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and enhances mental clarity. Nasya treatment involves the application of herbal oils or powders into the nasal passages. This relieves nervous system disorders and helps specifically in spine and joint-related ailments too. Marma chikitsa is carefully administered for spine or joint-related complications. This stimulates the vital energy points in the body. Along with these treatment methods, dietary restrictions and advice on what to eat and what to avoid are placed when the patient is undergoing treatment with us. Dietary modifications are based on an individual’s dosha constitution and current imbalances.
